Our staff will collect any applicable co-payments and charges for non-covered services from you at the time of service. We will file a claim for services to your insurance company and expect to be reimbursed by your insurance company. Please be aware that payment from your insurance company cannot be guaranteed, and benefits are not determined until your claim is processed. You will be financially responsible for any claim your insurance company denies.

Joan Frank, O.D. has been an optometrist in downtown Indianapolis for over 20 years. She is a 1981 graduate from the Indiana University School of Optometry. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Indiana Optometric Association with a special membership in the AOA’s Contact Lens and Cornea Section. Dr. Frank is certified in Ocular Therapeutics and Paragon Corneal Refractive Therapy along with the Bausch & Lomb Shaping Treatment. A participant in the VSP Sight for Students and several other charities, Dr. Frank joined Ossip in 2012.

John Shackle, O.D. is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Optometry. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the VSP Sight for Students. He has practiced optometry on the east side of Indianapolis for over 30 years. Dr. Shackle and his wife have three grown children.
