Osteometer A/S was founded in 1989 by Dr. Claus Christiansen and Dr. Bente Juel Riis on the basis of 25 years of research within osteoporosis. The main goal of the company was to develop, manufacture and market diagnostic tools, targeting postmenopausal woman, with special emphasis on diagnostic procedures of bone metabolic diseases.
