Description
was born in Stuttgart, Germany in 1948. Already at school he formed a close bond with photography. His interest in Nature and especially insects and small animals developed his well-known close-up style. In 1965 the private school A.L.Merz published Otto's first book on insect lino-cuts. Otto was then trained at Kodak in Stuttgart to become a colourfilm technician. In 1971 he migrated to Australia and continued to work with Kodak as training officer and later as supervisor in computer services.
