Out of the Box was started in April 1999. The business grew out of Eileen's work with companies seeking web design. Many of the design clients came back to her looking for ways to promote their sites. Eileen began researching search engines and other online marketing tools in 1995. Finding that while it was constantly changing, it was possible to effectively promote sites within the search engines. The marketing part of her web design business began to grow and in 1999 Eileen decided to leave web design and enter the fast paced world of web marketing.Out of the Box grew quickly and in June of 1999 Laura came into the business to broaden the skill set for the increasing demands of web marketing.Out of the Box has served over 100 businesses with various stages of their web marketing strategy. With clients as varied as a manufacturer of jerky spices to one of the largest manufacturer of auto entertainment systems, Eileen and Laura gain more experience with online marketing every day. And have some wonderful stories of success and some real knowledge of what clearly did not work. A list of their clients and letters of recommendation are available upon request.
