The Outpost Motel 2010 Accommodations and Rates Our Motel Rooms have knotty pine walls, hardwood floors, and spectacular views of Lake Superior, giving them the rustic feel of a cabin on the lake. All rooms have private bathrooms and in-room coffee makers. They have small TVs that receive six stations via satellite. Rooms are available with one queen size bed, two single beds, or two queen size beds. All rooms are non-smoking. Our Kitchenette Suites in the motel include a living room, kitchen area, one or two bedrooms, and a private bath for each bedroom. Bedrooms have one queen size bed, and living rooms have sleeper sofas. Kitchens are fully equipped with stove, sink, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and cooking and serving utensils. All kitchenettes have lake views, and all are non-smoking. Our Cottage is a cozy building separate from the motel. It has a small kitchen area, a sitting area, and a bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs it has a bedroom with one queen size bed and another room at the top of the stairs with one double bed. The bedroom has an exterior door that opens to a small deck. The cottage does not have a lake view. It is non-smoking. Go to images of cottage . Our Loft Apartment is an upstairs apartment in a separate building with a beautiful lake view out the front and a forest view out back. It has one bedroom with two queen size beds. The other room is a living/dining room with kitchen facilities along one side. The kitchen is fully equipped. The loft apartment is a non-smoking unit. Pets are not allowed in the loft apartment. Discounts and extras: 10% discount for 5 days or more 15% discount for 7 days or more Extra person in room: $5.00 per day Pet in room: $10.00 per pet, per day Minimum Stays: Two night minimum on units with kitchens Two night minimum on all units during peak summer and fall weekends Three night minimum Labor Day weekend Cancellations and Early Check-outs: If you must cancel your reservation, please give us as much advance notice as possible. On reservations for a kitchenette suite, the cottage, or the loft apartment, we require at least a week notice of cancellation. On motel rooms without kitchens you must cancel by 4PM on the date of your reservation. If you do not provide the required notice, you will be charged for one night plus tax. On any unit with a kitchen, you will be charged for the number of nights you reserve, whether or not you stay all the nights. There is no credit for early departure.
