This site is dedicated in memory of my daughter, Jill Carol Skolek. She was born on February 26, 1973. She was killed on April 29, 2002 because she had the misfortune of being prescribed OxyContin. This site is also dedicated to all the families who have experienced devastation either through death or addiction of a loved one from OxyContin. This site has nothing to do with grieving. Giuliani's firm, for instance, was hired by Purdue Pharma to help figure out how to keep sales of its popular painkiller OxyContin from being restricted by the government; street dealers were crushing and converting it into a powerful narcotic offering an instant high. Kerik was personally named to oversee security improvements at a New Jersey manufacturing plant. At the same time, the Justice Department paid Giuliani-Kerik $1.1 million to conduct a management review of the organized-crime drug task force, whose responsibilities included stemming illegal use of OxyContin. Woman believes OxyContin killed her daughter, and she wants executives of drug company to serve time in prison. You can call your state's Attorney Generals and ask questions regarding Oxycontin and its effects. You can call your state's Board of Medical Examiners for information on the physician who prescribed Oxycontin. There are recourses to be taken.
