Ms. Morin has more than twelve years of experience in business operations, accounting, auditing and finance. Ms. Morin's experience has been concentrated in medical, construction, retail and wholesale industries. Ms. Morin holds a B.S. in Accounting, from the University of Havana and an MBA with concentration in Marketing and Finance from the ITAM in Mexico City.

Mr. Perez has more than fifteen years of experience in business operations, sales and marketing. Mr. Perez's experience has been concentrated in Telecommunications, Internet infrastructure and related services, computer systems and medical practice management. Prior to founding P&M Billing, Mr. Perez worked with Nortel Networks focusing in sales and marketing of internet infrastructure and related services in Latin America and the Caribbean region. Mr. Perez holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, from the University of Havana and an MBA with concentration in Marketing and Finance from the ITAM in Mexico City.

A major concern in the law was the security and privacy of electronic health records as well as their transmission between health care entities. The security standards HIPAA mandates are not product-specific. They are designed to provide an industry "best practice." Security consists of more than just firewalls - organizations must ensure the confidentiality and integrity of their health records, and transmission of data must be authenticated and have the property of non-repudiation. Additionally, security policies and procedures must be documented and implemented.
