P& S was founded in May, 2004, by Robert L. Pike, Jr. and Scott A. Smith with the acquisition of the assets of an existing flatbed operation consisting of about 20 owner operators and 35 trailers, and commenced operations on June 1, 2004. During the first three years of operations, the Company has grown to a fleet consisting of over 250 power units made up of 180 company owned tractors and 50 owner operators, and 230 platform trailers.
