Hailing from Newark, New Jersey, Ronnie Rawles is a promising young artist on a quest to be heard. At an early age, Rawles recognized his passion for music and his desire to be a prominent contender of the rap game in the music industry. It was in middle school where he began to write and recite his rhythmic poetry. As the pages in his rhyme book turned and years passed, his passion deepened and skills sharpened. It was at Weequahic High School where Ronnie Rawles began displaying his skills in battle ciphers. Classes became sessions for Rohn to create a new song of sixteen hot bars. As the pages of his rhyme book, known to him as his “Bible” turned, and the years passed, Rohn’s passion has deepened and his skills have sharpened. His rhymes have been described to “dance on music” and be “mood transforming”. Producers and engineers that have worked with him have described his words to be able to “bring them to his realm of reality.” Rohn, a self-described beast, is vicious on the microphone. On songs like Untouchable, he flows with charisma displaying his creative lyrics. On Let It Be, he shows his confidence as a verbal assassin: You don’t wanna see Rohn when I’m acting a fool / packing a tool, I’ll jack you for your jacket and shoes / wanna resist, you’ll here a click-clack and a boom / made a statistic, another young black in a tomb. Ronnie Rawles has continued to develop his undeniable raw talent by performing at numerous venues amongst various markets. His natural ability to stimulate the crowd has earned him a fan base that stretches and continues to grow. Ronnie Rawles is an upcoming star with a lot to say… and he’s just gotten started. Always having a love for music, Shalaw proclaimed himself as just a writer. Initially, Shalaw was content with writing and reciting his rhymes while a student at Plainfield High School, with a dream to be an architect. His words caught the ears of many of his classmates and his community, making them want to hear more of his music. Their encouragement for him to pursue a career in music was overwhelming and boosted the confidence of the musician. With the support of Players4Life Entertainment, Shalaw began taking his rhymes to the recording studio and delivering them over tracks on a microphone. With the gift to allow the music to move and inspire him, Shalaw has created many songs while grooving in the studio while in the presence of other artists; developing his passion for recording and performing his music.
