Richard has worked for or with various industrial companies for over 25 years including over 9 years at Hirschfeld Industries, the largest steel fabricator of steel bridges and related components in the U. S. Richard held various executive positions, including CFO and President. Prior to that, Mr. Phillips spent 24 years with JPMorgan in Houston as Managing Director and Co-Manager of the Middle Market Investment Banking Group. Richard graduated from Virginia Tech with a BS in Finance/Accounting and an MBA from Virginia Tech.

We use state-of-the-art software to develop our customers’ shop drawings. This software allows us to see each component in the entire structure and ensure that all pieces will assemble correctly and according to plan. It also assists in clash detection, allowing us to see issues with fit-up prior to the fabrication of any components. With the ever-rising costs of today’s construction, this type of technology is essential in the fabrication process.

In 2013, Atlas Holdings formed Veritas Steel LLC to acquire certain assets of steel bridge fabricator PDM Bridge. Based in Greenwich, Connecticut, Atlas has deep experience in building materials and steel products—and a track record of success with companies it invests in, which includes industry leaders like Pangborn Group, Bridgewell Resources, RedBuilt engineered wood products and Phoenix Services, among others.
