PFG delivers high performance mirrors, windows and wedges in a wide variety of shapes, sizes and materials. We are accustomed to working with most all optical glasses (100+), fused silica and crystalline substrate materials such as CaF 2 , Ge, MgF 2 , Si, ZnSe, ZnS and Amtir. Our technicians are able to produce optical flats to the most demanding specifications for flatness, transmitted wavefront, parallelism (angular tolerances on wedges) and surface cosmetics.

PFG delivers high precision lenses for a wide range of defense, medical, semiconductor and metrology applications. We specialize in high quality lenses featuring high index glasses, high included angles, tight centering and truncation. We have intensive experience with the production of tight tolerance achromats. We routinely supply inspection information including melt data, statement of findings and spectral scans for our lenses. The size range of our capability extends from 3mm to 250mm with radii from 3mm to 12 meters.

At PFG Precision Optics our first priority has always focused on advancing technical competence to provide superior optical products to our customers. We produce a broad offering of very high precision spherical and flat optics, together with an extensive variety of durable long lifetime thin film coatings and opto-mechanical assemblies. Historically our core strength has been production of visible and shortwave infra-red optics for the defense, semiconductor, medical, scientific and test & measurement industries.

PFG Precision Optics is pleased to announce that we have expanded our capabilities through the acquisition of Alpine Research Optics. ARO has an excellent reputation for quality and innovation in the fabrication of ultra-violet optics. The synergy between the two manufacturing facilities in Boulder, CO and Ocean Springs, MS significantly increases our ability to better serve our customers in the DUV through the MWIR.
