As Montville High School classmates Bill and John began performing odd jobs and small contracting work. In 1979, after both worked for contractors doing masonry, carpentry, and concrete work, they decided to venture out subcontracting in-ground pool installations and providing contracting services throughout New London County. The company grew at times employing more than 20 people. The company has completed notable projects throughout the last 32 years ranging from small residential projects to road construction to collegiate sports facilities and infrastructure.
