Katherine Redden is a board certified physician assistant who has been with PCA for over 6 years. Her passion for cardiology began while doing her internship with PCA in the beginning of her clinical career. She received her Bachelor's degree in Biology at the University of California Santa Barbara in 2003. She then continued on and graduated from Western University with her masters in Physician Assistant Studies in 2007 where she was on the Deans list for academics.

Ensuring the cardiovascular well being of our patients and their families has been PCA's mission for over 27 years. Our comprehensive team approach incorporates the talents of the finest cardiologists, (adult and pediatric), cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgeons, cardiac interventionalists, and expert non-invasive cardiologists. We have consistently provided the finest, state-of-the-art, comprehensive cardiac services to our patients, referring physicians, and allied health partners.

Dr. Swensson's career has included extensive experience in academic and private practice settings. He previously held the position of Chief, Division of Cardiology at the University of New Mexico and more recently has held academic appointments at the University of California at San Diego (1983-91) and UC Irvine (1991-95).
