John E. Pack, RPh, FACA Owner / Compounding and Consulting Pharmacist John is the second of three generations of pharmacists. His father has owned his pharmacy since 1950 in Cincinnati and John’s daughter works with her grandfather. His brother is a pharmacist as well. Born and raised in Cincinnati, John graduated from Walnut Hills High School in 1966 and the University of Cincinnati McMicken College of Arts and Sciences (BA) in 1970. He then served in the U. S. Army (Medical Corps) where he was trained as a pharmacy specialist, obtaining the rank of Specialist 5th class. Following his honorable discharge he returned to the University of Cincinnati and graduated from the College of Pharmacy (BSPharm) in 1977. He and his wife then moved to Lima, acquired the Bungalow Pharmacy (1937-1977), renamed it Pack Pharmacy, and converted it from a “corner drugstore” to a professional pharmacy. In addition to building a successful practice John has served in a variety of professional organizations and received numerous awards and recognitions. Over the years he has spoken before numerous civic, educational, and professional groups on pharmacy related issues.
