Professional Analytical and Consulting Services (PACS) and Activated Carbon Services, Inc. is a 29-year-old incorporated firm providing independent analytical testing services and process engineering for industrial and municipal activated carbon users and manufacturers. Activated carbon services include routine and advanced laboratory testing, engineering, PACS short course programs, R&D, consulting, contract research, software for AC, expert witness, and hosting the International Activated Carbon Conference (IACC) and the associated Activated Carbon School short courses.

PACS has positions available for professional scientific service providers, and has provided these services for over 34 years. PACS will accept proposals for short courses, consultants, conference directors for focused conference subjects, and other needed services. New ideas are welcomed.

PACS has well over twenty years experience as a flexible service providing firm incorporated in the state of Pennsylvania. Like the juggler on our opening webpage, we take pride in keeping client projects on schedule and within budget. Dr. Henry Nowicki is the principal scientist and president at PACS. Dr. Nowicki at PACS has provided litigation and expert witness support services for some of the largest U.S. environmental cases: Love Canal, Stringfellow, Everglades, Phoenix drinking water, airport carbon monoxide exposures, and fetal health damages. Dr. Nowicki is available to lawyers (twelve cases in his PACS practice) to provide science based information to help in the most challenging and difficult cases. Dr. Nowicki has access to state-of-the-art laboratory facilities to help gather needed information to make decisions.
