Page Funeral Home is a “Full Service Funeral Home ” proudly serving our community for over 55 years. As a dedicated and full-service funeral home we thought that we would share a little information with you. As a “Full Service Funeral Home ” we arrange: Veterans Funerals, “Traditional ” and “Alternative Funerals ”, Cremation services, Pre-Arrangements, Pre-Payments, Payment Plans and long-distance arrangements (Out of State). In addition to those services, we also offer to all of our families the ability to “Personalize ” their casket, urn or memorial selections. Families have the ability to “Personalize and Theme ” the funeral by selecting options that have special meaning to the deceased. An example is given with the picture on the left. This picture depicts a funeral for a veteran who loved his family and baseball. The “memory-theme ” is of someone who was proud to serve his country and is expressed by the veterans casket selected with the addition of displaying his uniform. The memory picture board allows visitors to see how this man lived his life from childhood to an elder of a family, a picture can truly be worth a thousand words. By adding the baseball glove and trophies the family can show a passion and love that was a big part in his life. Together, all of these things create a loving, beautiful, personal tribute that we are proud to help the family create. All funerals are not the same and all individuals are not the same, so therefore we must offer our families the ability to create a once in a lifetime celebration of life. We can offer our families options that most people did not know existed. If someone wanted to be cremated and the family wanted to scatter the ashes in the ocean, but because of the laws regarding that, we can offer this option. We can contact a company that specializes in casting the cremated remains with concrete to form a reef. They create a reef to sink in the bottom of the ocean, which will enable sea-life to thrive. Another option could be to have the cremated remains used to form an artificial diamond, which could be passed down through generations of the family. You may have been to funerals that were the “traditional ” and maybe you have been to a service that included some new things, but the above is just an example of what can be created for the funeral. Everyday there are new and innovative ways created to commemorate and recognize the life of someone special. If there are thoughts and possibilities that you may have, please share them with us, and we will do all we can to help you create a beautiful lasting memory.
