Nancy Davis is one of the owners and operators of Palms Funeral Home. She grew up in Danbury and is currently the president for the Danbury Rotary Club. She also serves as Chairman for the Brazoria County Better Business Bureau and the Angleton Cemetery Association. She is a past chairman of the Angleton Chamber of Commerce and former school board president for Danbury ISD. Richard Davis is also an owner of Palms. He graduated from Angleton High School and worked at Dow Chemical Company for over 20 years. Upon retiring, he attended and graduated in 2000 from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston with a Certificate in Funeral Directing. He is currently serving as one of the commissioners and president for Brazoria County Emergency Services District #3. Nancy and Richard have been married for 31 years and they have two daughters: Stacy White, a teacher at Alvin High School and her husband, Michael; Lindsey, an administrator with Texas Children's Hospital; grandson, Zachary, and granddaughter, Zoe. Back to Top Tommy Matheson, along with his wife, Stacey are owners of Palms Funeral Home. Tommy was raised in Danbury and lives there with Stacey and their daughters, Allison and Hayley. Stacey is a teacher at Danbury I.S.D. Tommy graduated in 1987 from Commonwealth College of Funeral Service in Houston and holds an associate degree of applied science in funeral service. He served on the board of directors of the Angleton Area Emergency Medical Corps. Tommy also operates Texas Monument, the monument company associated with Palms. Back to Top
