Paradigm Mechanical Corp. is an 8(a) certified woman-owned small business located in San Diego County. Our principals have over 100 years of combined industry experience. We specialize in working with project teams to design and build mechanical systems for medical, laboratory, government, and industrial facilities in the Southern California region.

The Escondido Fire Station No. 4 is located adjacent to Kit Carson Park on Bear Valley Parkway. The award-winning design-build project transformed an existing 2,500 sq. ft., 32-year-old facility into a 5,700 sq. ft. 3-bay, state-of-the-art fire station. Previously it had serious mold infestation, limited bathroom facilities and tight sleeping quarters. Approximately two-thirds of the original station was stripped down to the studs, renovated, and repurposed, while the rest of the station was demolished.

Allan Newkirk has worked in the HVAC mechanical industry for more than 20 years. He joined Paradigm in 2013. He brings a wealth of project management and customer service to his position. Over the last 10 years, he gained broad-base experience in the industry and the business from founding and owning his own successful mechanical company. This hands-on business knowledge sets Allan apart from many project managers in the field today.

A client’s mechanical needs are first discussed. Then a comprehensive evaluation and options menu is presented – including engineering concepts, budgetary information, and scheduling. If needed, Paradigm offers general contracting services to encompass all trades in order to provide a full turnkey project. It’s important to note — Paradigm is not committed to a particular brand or manufacturer of HVAC equipment. This gives Paradigm flexibility and a competitive edge in acquiring the right product, at the right price for projects.
