David P. Gerrits David P. Gerrits is the president of Gerrits Construction, Inc. started in 1945 by his grandfather. Mr. Gerrits has been involved in the construction industry most of his life with a main focus on Healthcare and Education development but has been connected to just about every type of project in the construction industry. Gerrits Construction, Inc. worked at Lynn University for the past 17 years, at Boca Hospital for over 18 years, and recently completed the 12 million dollar FAU School of Nursing. Mr. Gerrits is Chairman of the Lynn University Golf Tournament and the AHCA (Healthcare) Golf Tournament. Beyond his day to day responsibilities Mr. Gerrits is also a Board of Director for the Lynn Blue and White Club and has been active in the Police Athletic League for a number of years. The Gerrits Family founded the BCS College football trophy and still participates in the yearly luncheon to award the coach trophy to the top National Football Championship team.
