Description

From Parcom Guaranteed! We don't want to add to your junk mail! Parcom believes that our customers are smart enough to ask for the things they need from us! Not all hosting companies are the same! Especially when it comes to the security of your web site! [.. More] Why Secure Hosting? Security means piece of mind! Home > Information > Why Secure Hosting? Target audience: All Choosing between the different web hosting companies can be very challenging! Even for technical people. At Parcom we decided a long time ago that our clients appreciate security. A great number of people tend to see security as an after thought! We see it as the number one feature to have. And so many hosting companies do not even offer you something as simple as a secure datacenter! Sometimes people see every hosting company as the same, but it is not. There are many differences but are they secure? Is there even a solid security system in place at all at the other hosting company? Did they build around security or did they just throw something together? Parcom built around a security system! A lot of hosting companies can boast a bit of security but can they even pass a security audit? Chances are very slim that some of those bargain hosts can ever meet a lot of security checks! Many do not even own the network they claim they own because they are a reseller of a reseller! Isn't that frustrating? Hosting is a complex industry and we believe our customers appreciate that we are not only a business that has been around since 1997, but also one that can help CEOs and other clients feel better at night knowing their web sites are far safer with Parcom than at some other hosting location. Parcom works hard to make sure your web site is far more secure with us than any other hosting company can ever claim. We use the biggest firewall solution ever created with IDS technology and currently we understand it is only used by two of the biggest corporate networks in the world right now. We are so secure we won't even tell you the brand or solution provider! Just rest assured that they safely protect some of the biggest corporations in the world let alone U.S. Government locations too. Let it be said up front, nothing is perfect, but we wanted the best network security money can buy for our customers. Working hard to BAN Spambots! As part of our services we work hard to ban the worst spam bots that can affect the performance of your web site! People who do not want their sites hacked or perhaps are plagued by spammers who fill their forums, guestbooks with spam come to Parcom to reduce that problem! We work with customers to find new spam bots that affect their sites and ban them from our network 100%. All of this information is shared with all customers in our forum. PCI Compliant A lot of buzz about "PCI" with regards to e-commerce now a days. At Parcom we've surpassed the requirements well before PCI existed. Our company is building up a list of "certified Parcom PCI testing organizations" and we will provide this list to our customers so they can work with those who will be trusted by our very secure network.
