Our company was established in 1989 and renamed in 1992 when John Parks (1948-2010), Publisher of the Legal Advertiser, now the Detroit Legal News, acquired a three-year old title company and renamed it Parks Title. John’s nephew Pat Parks (1967-2010) partnered with Julie McKee to manage the dramatic growth of this customer-oriented company. The continued growth, commitment to quality work and excellent service will serve as Pat and John’s enduring legacy.

A Foreclosure Guarantee and Commitment is a title insurance product designed to assist a lender and its foreclosing attorney to prepare to foreclose on a real estate mortgage. The Foreclosure Guarantee is designed to provide the lender and its attorney the information regarding the current owner, mortgage and liens affecting the property. Parks Title counts among our clients more than 50 lenders and attorneys for whom we provide this detailed service.

Parks Title is the recognized expert for fast and accurate title and settlement services. Our experience and excellent customer care have allowed us to grow and remain strong through the ups and downs of a challenging economy. We are a family owned, independent provider of a full range of residential and commercial title insurance services and act as an agent for First American Title Insurance Company, Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company and Stewart Title Guaranty Company.

Prior to joining Parks Title, Kevin served as Area Sales Manager at a national mortgage insurance company. He has over 25 years experience in the mortgage finance industry. Kevin earned his Bachelors of Administration and Master of Science in Finance degrees from Walsh College in Troy, Michigan.

Parks Title has extensive experience in creating a smooth closing process for buyers and sellers in a For Sale By Owner (FSBO) transaction. The process of transferring title on a property can be quite complicated. Parks Title identifies any potential issue that might delay the closing of the sale of your home. Once a purchase agreement has been completed, we will facilitate a smooth closing process within your desired timeframe.
