PES is a woman-owned company based in Washington, DC. Our founding principals – Anita Morrison and Abigail Ferretti – have a combined experience of more than 40 years in economic and development consulting. All of our staff are trained in rigorous data analysis to answer the key questions about markets and economic opportunities critical to community planning. Drawing on our lengthy experience with public/private partnerships, we are highly skilled in evaluating project feasibility and recommending structures that allow sharing of risks and rewards.

Daniel has experience in corridor planning in both Maryland and Virginia. In examining the office and lodging development potential for three nodes along a commercial corridor in Northern Virginia, Daniel spoke with brokers and property managers to evaluate competition within the relevant trade areas. He assisted in developing a comprehensive sustainable mixed-use strategy for a revitalization plan along a five-mile corridor in Richmond that hosted a large supply of affordable housing.

Working extensively with cities, economic development and redevelopment agencies, public/private partnerships, universities, housing authorities and non-profits, PES brings real estate and economics expertise to bear on a wide range of urban development and public policy issues.

With more than 13 years of experience managing small and large redevelopment projects, Abigail is fully versed in a variety of approaches and strategies. Beginning with her work with streetscape and small business loans in Baltimore County business districts, she has extended her experience to include such commercial corridors as Washington, DC’s Georgia Avenue and Rhode Island Avenue, US Route 1 between Washington and Baltimore, and US 40 in Howard County, MD.

Partners for Economic Solutions is a limited liability company formed in 2008 by founding principals Anita B. Morrison and Abigail B. Ferretti. The firm provides consulting services for public and private clients including market-driven analysis for all types of land uses, real estate advisory services, economic development and revitalization strategies, impact analysis (fiscal and economic) analysis and public policy evaluation.
