Naomi Melvin PhD/EdD, MPH, BSMT has been in healthcare for over 30 years. From 1973- 1981 she was assistant supervisor of Clinical Microbiology for the Kaiser Permanente Healthcare systems in , North Hollywood, California. From 1982- 1992 she served as the Director of Infection Control and Microbiology services for NWF Community Hospital, Florida. From 1992 till 2000 she held dual consulting roles in SBC Lab Consultants and Medsafe Inc a large consulting firm out of Waltham, Massachusetts with clients in the Pilgrim Healthcare system and Harvard Dental School. Medsafe is now TCS and Dr.

The need for a quick, inexpensive, multi-system capable, universally accepted program design along with a little to no technical instruction design was incorporated in every step of the process. The result is a program that can be utilized to digitize the smallest rural doctor's office and yet be completely incorporated and used in the largest medical facility making medical care truly available world wide.
