The Patterson family has grown apples in Geauga County for six generations. In 1956 Sam and Iona decided to move their popular roadside stand to the serene location on Caves Road. By 1962 the orchards, planted among outcroppings of glacial deposits overlooking Lake Erie, were surrounded by the family's new 18-hole golf course, Orchard Hills. Son, Jim, and wife, Nancy, joined the fruit farm operation and developed a pick-your-own apple and strawberry farm.Now customers gather from near and far to savor the end of harvest time by picking apples and enjoying natural, creative activities in the Family Fun Fest area. From mid-July through the winter, and into the spring, the popular farm market provides a bountiful supply of crisp and tasty apples, sweet apple cider, maple syrup, fresh bakery and unique gifts.The youngest generation, Dave with wife Pam and Bill join the rest of the family in welcoming you to this wonderful part of Ohio!
