Schoonover brings more than 20 years of experience in the controls system integration industry. His responsibilities include forming strategic partnerships with automation manufacturers and end users to bring Patti Engineering’s expertise in developing and implementing value enhancing control systems to new clients. “Rick’s automation industry background, impressive track record for increasing sales and developing strategic partnerships, and his enthusiasm for business challenges and team-based success, will serve him well here at Patti Engineering,” says Sam Hoff, Patti Engineering’s Owner and President, “We’re very pleased to have him join our team.” Prior to joining Patti Engineering, Schoonover past experience includes positions held at companies ranging from startups to global corporations including Modicon, ABB & KUKA Robotics and Flow Robotic Software Technologies. Schoonover earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois and his MBA at the University of Michigan.
