Welcome to Pediatric Therapy Associates and Sports Medicine! We are a multidisciplinary practice founded over 25 years ago in Raleigh, North Carolina. Our goal is to provide quality services for infants and children up to 21 years of age. Services include occupational and physical therapy, speech-language pathology, music therapy, developmental therapy, individual and family counseling, social groups, and a variety of supplementary programs. Services and programs are provided within a fun, playful atmosphere in our offices as well as in homes, schools, and other community sites. Our highly trained, licensed therapists have advanced degrees in their areas of specialty. They are dedicated to ongoing continuing education and the acquisition of advanced pediatric skills. At Pediatric Therapy Associates we focus on the abilities and the recovery potential in each child. In addition, we encourage parental input and understand the importance of forming partnerships with the families we serve. Motivated by a respect and love for kids, our staff members dedicate their time to programs that go beyond traditional therapy. These programs include the International Adoption Clinic, the Raleigh AMBUCS Amtryke Giveaway, and our Salsa and Movement dance class for children with special needs. Other programs include monthly “Kids’ Night Out” groups and “Yoga Fun” classes taught by a certified YogaKids instructor. We are also participating in the TelAbility/WATCH (Wake Area Telehealth Collaborative Helping Children with Special Needs) Project.
