Founded in 1940, Penn Line Service is a solid middle-market contractor with diverse operations in energy and infrastructure services. Through our four business units, we serve uniquely different markets in critical in frastructure maintenance for electric utilities and independent energy producers, highway-related construction, and inside power distribution/teledata for commercial and industrial environments. We are headquartered in Southwestern Pennsylvania, with a commercial footprint that covers 12 states and extends from the Mid- and South-Atlantic regions to the Great Lakes.

We provide power and lighting, building automation, and advanced data and fiber optic cabling in controlled critical environments in healthcare and biopharmaceutical manufacturing. We have deep experience in retrofits and new construction in active sterile environments, including manufacturing cleanrooms, explosion-proof processing rooms and R&D labs, and in the elements of work zone behavior key to isolation and contamination control.

Today, we provide a broad scope of electrical construction capabilities to select customers in the energy sector, with an emphasis on support operations for diversified power producers.

B ased in Southwestern Pennsylvania and located strategically within the Appalachian Basin’s shale gas assets, Penn Line Service is uniquely geared to provide a wide range of specialized site preparation and restoration services to operators active in shale gas development. With an established local workforce, we provide responsive pre- and post-drilling services for well pad sites, buried pipeline and other surface infrastructure.
