Description

The Atlanta Chapter endowed scholarship fund is named in honor of a long time member and leader of our Chapter, George C. Sinko. George served as an officer and member of our Board of Directors for many, many years before passing away in 1999 from complications following a heart attack. Typically 5-7 awards of approximately $750 are given out annually. All Penn State students from the metro Atlanta area are eligible to receive this award. There is no application process. Our Board of Directors is given a list of all enrolled students and makes the awards based on merit. If you would like to make a donation to our endowed fund, we accept credit cards on our online payment site . Alternatively, you can send a check with "George Sinko scholarship donation" in the memo line to: Penn State Greater Atlanta Chapter P.O.
