About Us Pennington's has been in business in Orange, California for over 26 years. Many of our customers return to us time and time again because they know they can get a great deal, fantastic service and after-purchase care that shows we care about their needs. We take trade-ins and also will appraise or purchase your car, even if you don't buy one from us. We also offer in house financing on approved credit. Chuck Pennington Owner/President This is my second career. I spent 11 years in Commercial and Branch banking with Lloyds Bank. I started in the automobile business from a deep desire to satisfy a dream I had ever since my college days. During those years I had collected antique cars and later began selling them to help support myself through college. I loved every aspect of the business but had to give it up when I was called for service in the Army during the Vietnam War. With the support of my wife, Sue, we started the company in 1983, originally brokering mostly new cars. Today, our energies are directed to the sale and acquisition of used cars and as a result we carry a very good inventory, with vehicles to suit most people's needs.
