PeoplesTrust Bank opened for business on July 23, 2004 with offices in Hamilton and Hackleburg, Alabama. As the first newly chartered commercial bank in Marion County in more than 25 years, PeoplesTrust Bank was organized as a locally owned and locally focused alternative to the multi state mega-banks. Local decision making has enabled us to be more responsive to our personal and business customers. In November 2008, we continued our mission to meet the banking needs of Northwest Alabama by opening a full service banking office in Florence, Alabama. Our commitment to providing personalized client service was confirmed by engaging the services of established bankers from the Florence area. Our goal is simple: to provide absolutely superior service to our customers by building long-term personal relationships with our staff, officers and directors.
