By KEVIN KOELLING, Managing Editor TELL CITY – Mike Bishop looked into the demographics of the students he serves as director of the Perry County Learning Academy, and found something “eye-opening.” “The number of kids that we’re serving who are either parents or expecting (babies)” comprises 13.5 percent of the academy’s population, he reported at a regular board-of-directors meeting Tuesday. They’re all high-school junior or senior age, he added.
