Prior to the birth of our son, My wife and I contacted several contractors with two simple yet complex requests: 1) Redesign and expand an upstairs linen closet so that we could move the washer/driver from a downstairs location and 2) build bookshelves in the old downstairs washer/dryer nook so that the old location of the washer/dryer could be turned into an office. The work involved adding pipes, knocking out dry wall, and laying tile for the new upstairs linen closet. Downstairs it required custom designing, building, and installing bookshelves, and installing new drywall in place of the old washer/dryer outlets. We selected Person Construction (Dennis Person) based on feedback we'd received about his previous work. It was the right choice. Dennis's work on the project was outstanding, and he finished on time and on budget. He did an excellent job of updating us on his daily progress and leaving the worksite clean at the end of each day. We continue to be pleased about the work Dennis did. Both the new office and the new washer/dryer closet looks as if it was built into the original design of the house. We have received numerous compliments on his work.
