Our company is dedicated to making people safer, not safe. Unfortunately “safe” is not possible because, by their very nature, violent criminals are violent, so one is occasionally forced to measure success by surviving an attack, not in avoiding all harm.

We present this website to introduce you to our company. Although we strive to present the most up-to-date, highest quality, and most relevant information on personal safety from world-class experts, no technique or strategy we can advocate is perfect, and even the most effective techniques and strategies are not universally valid. Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa during the height of Apartheid, Larry developed a keen sense of situational awareness at an early age. The unstable nature of that society, extensive travel experience in Southern Africa and the Third World, and as a victim of several assaults,Larry brings a real world civilian perspective to the issue of personal safety. His insurance consulting background in workers’ compensation while in health care provided extensive experience in writing, organizing and presenting content.
