I’m actually living here with my Peruvian wife and I can’t imagine a day without drinking my passion fruit juice under the coastal sun or eating my ceviche (raw seafood marinated in a citrus-based sauce) with my chicha morada (refreshing drink made of purple corn). Having traveled across the Desert, the Andes and the Amazon , I would be glad to help you organize your trip and give you useful advice. This combined with my 14-years of experience in customer service in French, English and Spanish (including 7 years working in tourism), helps me to provide you with a tour that will meet your interests and needs. Hi everyone. My name is Jessica. I am Peruvian. I have varied experience working both as a receptionist and in customer service to the public utilizing my English. I also have experience in the education field as a teacher and the health field working with special need children.

I grew up in Virginia earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Business from James Madison University. I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to pursue my interest in the travel and tourism industry for over 8 years while working for Delta Airlines and several travel agencies which have helped me to gain invaluable experience.

Wow, we just got home from a mid-april 5day/4 night hiking/camping trek on the salkantay. Everything went SMOOTH. The paperwork and e-mail correspondence with Best Peru Tours (Joyce) was very thurough. All meetings, pickups, and schedules went excellent and puctual. I can’t rave over Reuben, our guide, enough. He is a genuine, caring man with top notch character. He comes from an outfit named “camping tours”, but whoever matched us up with him did great! All of the employees that worked to make this trip happen did a really good job. Reuben speaks 4 or 5 languages and has been guiding people for over 15 years. I saw many, many guides and local places in cusco that would take you, probably even cheaper, but I’d ask for Reuben and let his demeanor and experience get you through. Again, its how we were matched up. If you are 20-30 then get a young cocky guide. I’d say anyone over 40 would enjoy having Reuben calmly escort them on this journey, a hear a few after dinner stories that he has amassed over the years. My bottom line advise….use this company! and even ask for some of the people I mentioned. You’ll have good memories to look back on.
