Locally owned by Simon Shaw since 1989, PEST-X™ was originally known as Goforth Services of Greensboro, NC. This company was formed when two smaller companies, A-1 Exterminating and Gold Bond Exterminating, merged. These smaller companies had been providing pest control services to the Greensboro area since the 1950's. From their office located in Forsyth County, PEST-X™ has grown to be one of the largest independent Pest Control Companies in the Triad, serving Guilford, Forsyth, Randolph, Davidson, Rockingham, Davie and Alamance Counties.

Millipedes are oval, 1 to 1/2" inches long, segmented with many legs, coiling up when resting or dead. Their diet consists of damp and decaying wood and plant materials. It has been our experience that they invade the house during extremely wet seasons.

It is one of the most challenging pest control problems to manage and eliminate - but it can be done. To accurately and completely eliminate these roaches, you need to attack them from several fronts...using baits, dusts, growth regulators, and pheromone traps. They have the most eggs produced, shortest development cycle, best survival rate of the young, and the most adaptive feeding habits of most of the roaches. Because of this "high reproductive potential", they have a greater ability to develop resistance against insecticides.
