Description
POP was founded by Peter Otte in January, 2000. The company began in Pasadena, California but moved operations to Santa Barbara in 2007. Peter gained his professional training in design and advertising from Eric Ayzenberg of the Ayzenberg Group and in publishing with Bill Curtis of Curtco Publishing (publishers of Robb Report). Before that he worked for Martin Ransohoff . The objective has always been to work in as many different industries as possible. A second objective has been to remain open and flexible to new ideas, styles, and influences. And yet, we contribute to trends; we don’t merely follow them. Honesty and originality go hand in hand. We're a boutique shop. Like the song by Peter Gabriel, we don't see value in big for its own sake. We just want to be good at what we do and responsive to our client’s needs. "Working with Peter at POP was a breeze. Very professional, friendly, and a creative problem solver! " —Jamie Green HHK Entertainment LLC Hip Hop Kidz, Inc "We have found POP to be good listeners, and responsive to the specifics of the type of business we operate. We are completely satisfied with the web site they created for our firm — a job well done!" —Steve Norris, Norris Realty Advisors "We are very pleased with the catalog and website POP designed for us. They paid attention to every detail, addressed all of our needs and worked quickly. Peter always has great ideas to make our catalog and site even better and we’re really glad to have worked with him and are looking forward to new projects and ideas." —Alison Oldfield, BIA Cordon Bleu
