Phinney Design Group has worked with Mohonk Mountain House to develop a working Master Plan that covers the next 30 years of growth at the historic resort. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Mohonk is a premier destination for resort travel in the Notheast. With 140 years of hospitality and environmental stewardship, Mohonk has a rich history which they have been working to maintain and enhance in the ever changing resort market.

Phinney Design Group has worked with The Copperfield Inn to develop various plans and designs throughout its recent renovations. The Copperfield Inn, located on the picturesque main street of North Creek in the heart of the Adirondack Park, is the region’s premier Inn, Resort and Restaurant. For nearly 20 years, The Copperfield Inn has set the standard for Adirondack accommodations, dining and entertainment in the Lake George / Gore Mountain Region.

AVEDA’s high-profile, all organic and natural ingredients mission that determines its product line is now requiring the design of its spaces to follow suit. The owners of Classical Concepts opened a prominent new location on Broadway in Saratoga Springs with the intent to fulfill AVEDA’s mission. They asked the Phinney Design Group to outfit an existing space which will convert its product-based clientele into service-based clientele by offering massage, styling, manicures, and pedicures in an all natural environment.

We provide a “whole building approach” forming a team relationship with the owner, builder, engineer, and architect from early conceptual phases through completion to assess where sustainable opportunities within design, construction, and occupancy can be realized.
