Phoenix House New York has helped thousands of men, women, and adolescents overcome substance and alcohol abuse in order to lead healthy, productive and rewarding lives. Since 1967, we have been committed to supporting individuals and families by providing a wide range of services, from prevention, early intervention, and treatment to continuing care and recovery support. Our services include treatment for substance abusers with mental health problems and programs for mothers with children, outpatient and residential treatment for military personnel, veterans, and their families, impaired driver programs, and a detoxification program center.

Once we determine the most appropriate level of care for you or your loved one, we’ll contact your insurance company to provide a pre-certification assessment, explore your coverage and explain to your insurance company why you meet the clinical criteria for your level of care.

In Dublin, New Hampshire, we provide residential treatment and individualized academic tutoring for teens at Phoenix House Academy. In a separate location on the same extensive rural campus, adult men and women receive gender-specific residential treatment at Phoenix House Dublin Center. In nearby Keene, adults whose substance use does not warrant residential treatment may receive intensive outpatient care. At our Franklin Center in Central New Hampshire, we offer men and women short-term residential treatment, which may include detoxification as needed, and transitional living; we also provide sober living housing for men in Northfield.

Phoenix House offers many dual-diagnosis programs, mental health services, adolescent academies (included in SAMHSA’s National Registry of Effective Programs and Practices-NREPP), prevention services, and case management activities. We provide comprehensive individual substance abuse assessment and evaluation services in physician’s offices and clinics; substance abuse education for individuals with chronic medical disorders; treatment and management of IV drug users with medical complications; and treatment and monitoring of chronic pain patients’ drug use/compliance. Services are documented and monitored in our national electronic health record system; when you send us a client, they will select from a wide menu of services and you will receive timely and comprehensive updates. We monitor effectiveness, use evidence-based practices, and communicate regularly to physicians, hospitals, and other providers. These methods enable us to provide more services, better follow-up, and increased value in comparison to other substance abuse treatment organizations.

We provide treatment and evaluation services for adults and teens who have or may have issues with substance use or a combination of substance use and other mental health issues. We also provide educational and supportive services to family members, friends, significant others, and the community.
