Description

Giclée is French for "fine spray" and refers to our prints done on fine art papers with or without texture, and canvas. We use Epson Ultrachrome Inks, and our prints are archival to 90 years. -Gallery Wrap Canvas Whether the application is photographic portraiture or fine art reproduction, Epson premium canvas provides a vehicle for enhanced artistic creativity. 65% polyester and 35% cotton, this heavyweight canvas utilizes a tight weave and a coating that is pliable enough to withstand stretching without sagging, and has a subtle texture for a true artistic look and feel. High image quality and an archival display life. A completed canvas print should be "stretched" on wood bars. The standard depth is one inch. You can have a deeper canvas at 2 3/8 inches as well. Either of these create the museum effect seen in galleries. You may choose to have your image visible (wrapped) on the sides or you may have a white or black border on the sides. (if you have a family portrait that goes to the edge, you probably do not want to wrap the image) We would be happy to examine your file, and make a suggestion. Visit our Canvas Gallery for examples. Bright white base, card stock style reduces scuffing. -Ultra Smooth Fine Art A step up from enhanced matte in that this is a 100% cotton rag paper, less white, slightly creamy. A bit thicker than enhanced matte, does not have a whitener which means it is more archival. Handle with care as it does scuff! -Hahnemhule Photo Rag Photo Rag Bright White is the first choice for all users who prefer an especially bright white cotton paper. Photo Rag Bright White is ideal for reproducing high contrast images. This is not a toothy paper like the William Turner Hahnemhule. Broad color gamut, heavier than ultra smooth fine art. 310 gsm. 100% Cotton. -Somerset Velvet Radiant white paper,offers vivid color reproduction and deep rich blacks for amazing contrast. The texture gently softens the overall effect adding an extra hint of warmth to paintings, and a softer edge to photography. 100% cotton rag paper. -Somerset Double Weight Velvet The heavy version of somerset velvet, can stand alone on an easel without mounting. -William Turner Hahnemüle Our finest paper, natural white mould-made watercolor paper withh 100% cotton rag. A toothy surface, truely a fine art paper. -Silver Rag Glossy Silver Rag has the look and feel of traditional fiber photo paper. It is a smooth glossy "coated" paper. Nice for black and white's, this paper has an ivory tone to it producing glowing whites and deep blacks. Color prints are slightly warm, perfect for capturing morning and early evening light.
