The Green Team is a team of staff members and residents dedicated to learning about, promoting, and incorporating sustainable business practices at Pilgrim Manor. Members of this team work to identify, develop, implement, educate and evaluate environmentally responsible techniques, and ways to improve human health. Pilgrim Manor Retirement Community was founded in 1963 by members of the Congregational/United Church of Christ in West Michigan (UCC). The founding congregations believed that caring for seniors is a Christian responsibility. Pilgrim Manor began as a retirement home, and evolved into a residential long-term care and skilled nursing community.

Pilgrim Manor is a nonprofit retirement community located in Grand Rapids, Michigan dedicated to providing compassionate care to seniors.
