The philosophy of Pilgrim School is captured in the following quote from one of the original school founders. “Thus began the story of a thrilling experiment in providing a special kind of education to the children of parents who desired excellence for their children – excellence not only in the basic studies normally covered, but also excellence in personal attitudes, one toward the other…” This mission statement remains the same almost 50 years later as we educate preschool through twelfth grade.The 21st century, with the challenges of technology and the information explosion require that our faculty and students embrace technology and traditional education methods to nurture and prepare them for the challenges ahead. Our students have met the challenge with 100% of Pilgrim graduates having gone on to higher education.Our goal is to nurture and develop the holistic student. When a Pilgrim student graduates they stand out, ready to face the challenges and become good citizens of our world. Many of our students have gone on to leadership roles in universities, colleges, government and business.
