We hope that you have enjoyed our web site. This final page is about us. Donna and I purchased the resort in 1992. Before moving to the resort, we lived in Onamia, Minnesota, where Terry was a partner in a real estate company selling homes around Mille Lacs Lake. Donna worked at several secretarial/clerical jobs in Onamia. For the past 12 years, Donna has been a paraprofessional at the Longville and Remer elementary schools. It is a position that she enjoys a great deal. Terry runs the resort, again, a position that he enjoys. We have two kids, Evan and Leah. Both are now college grads and off on their own. There aren't a lot of pictures of Donna and I. This one was taken at Christmas, 2005, when both Leah and Evan were home. We were very happy to have them both here for the holiday. Evan is currently working in Portland, Oregon, as a chemist. He is the quality control person for a small environmental testing lab there. Evan loves camping, canoeing, kayaking and just about anything that can be done outdoors. He was able to join his sister for a months travel in New Zealand last year and they had a great time. Leah worked for a year or so with the Audubon Societies Environmental Learning Center in Sandstone, Minnesota. There she taught and worked with some of the birds and animals. Leah and Cleo are pictured below. After leaving the Audubon Center, Leah traveled in New Zealand for nine months. She hiked, scuba dove, jumped out of an airplane and generally had a great time. She is now working for the Heller Nature Center in Highland Park, Illinois, as a Naturalist. Instead of working with eagles and owls, she is now a bee keeper.
