Click Here For the Official Texas Baptist Men Website NOTE FROM BILL PIGOTT God has designed His kingdom so that Christians with kindred spirits join together. It is exciting when you find another Christian who shares the same concerns and burdens that you do. Often, God will graciously bring another believer alongside you who will undergird you in the work and concerns God has placed on your heart. This is what our TBM family is all about. God releases a powerful dimension of His presence to His children when they unite in heart and mind regarding His Kingdom. The Bible says that when two or more Christians meet and reverently discuss matters concerning the Lord, God is pleased to listen to them and respond to their concerns. When two or three believers agree in prayer, God chooses to respond to their unity by making His powerful presence known in their midst. If you are carrying concerns about your family or your church or your friends, ask God to bring like-minded believers around you to share the burden with you in conversation and in prayer. Don't try to carry the burden alone You may pray about them, but you will miss the blessing of uniting together with a group of believers who join together to intercede for one another and to enjoy God's presence. God's Word promotes interdependence, not individualism. As you face your concerns, seek out other believers with whom you can stand and share your load. We are so blessed that Lou Campbell has felt led to keep up the prayer chain. Thank you Lou. We are trying to get the web site up and going, but we are limited to the amount of information that we receive from all of you. We need pictures and testimonies as to what you have seen God doing on some of the projects that you have been on. SYDTR Bill Pigott 214-707-4379 bypigott@aol.com Director of Retiree Builders CAMP BUILDERS March 29 to April 16 We'll continue working at TEXAS BAPTIST ENCAMPMENT at PALACIOS. We will be framing new dorms that will be needed for this summer's camps. We need as many of our members as possible to come for this work. Contact Ed Fox (cell phone 956-763-7199) or the camp office (361-972-2737) if you need current info on the work and RV spaces. The camp is reached by following SH 35 and Business SH 35 to Palacios. From the east, Business SH 35 is southbound and makes a sharp right turn. At this right turn you will continue straight ahead (southbound) onto First Street until reaching the camp entrance on the left. Go to first road on the left inside camp and turn left. RV spaces are past the first building on the right and are closely spaced together. Alternately, go to second road on the left inside camp and turn left. RV spaces are past two buildings on the left. From the west. Business SH 35 turns right off SH 35 and goes through the business district. You will pass First Baptist Church on the left one block before Business SH 35 makes a sharp left turn. At this left turn, you will turn right onto First Street and drive to camp entrance on the left.
