Founded in 1986, Pleiger Plastics Company was one of the first molders in the United States to process Vulkollan. Vulkollan is a trademark name of Bayer AG Germany, and is Europe?s highest performance polyurethane. With a total of six locations in Europe and the United States, the group of Pleiger companies offer the highest performing polyurethane systems for molded engineering parts. Pleiger Plastic?s business philosophy is to provide high performance, high quality polyurethanes worldwide.

We provide engineering, testing and production of more custom molded parts for industrial and commercial applications, extending from snow plow cutting edges to conveyor scrapers to precision plastic balls for check valves. With custom polyurethane molding under our Plei-Tech ® trade name, we also produce shock absorbing dampers and other vibration absorbers, including damping bumpers, shock absorption pads and spring rubber parts.

Durometer will also play a significant role in abrasion resistance, compression set, tensile and tear strength, resiliency and chemical resistance of urethanes. Pleiger Plastics Company manufactures polyurethanes in five point durometer increments to provide each specific application the best choice of hardness.
