Indian-born Seema Krish is known for her ‘modern traditional’ textile aesthetic - contemporary designs that are combined with traditional textile-making techniques. Living between the cultures of the East and West inspires her unique visual vocabulary and the distinctive artisanal textiles in her eponymous line. Founded in 2010, the company's mission is to enhance the lives of the users and producers of her products - simple, beautiful and luxurious textiles that are also environmentally and socially conscious.

Today, POLLACK is a boutique company with a worldwide following. The privately held company employs 52 people and is headquartered in New York City's Soho district, occupying 30,000 square feet of office space that includes the design studio and warehouse.

In a sustaining "Cradle to Cradle" cycle, defined by William McDonough, an American architect, and Michael Braungart, a German chemist, products are designed in such a way that they can become, at the end of their useful life, biological or technical nutrients that are completely safe for human health and the environment.
