Welcome to POLY Languages Institute! Located in sunny Southern California, POLY Languages Institute, with campuses in Los Angeles, Pasadena, and Irvine (Orange County), has been teaching languages since 1970. Our intensiveEnglish as a Second Language (ESL) andTOEFL preparation program are designed for students who come to the United States with an F-1 student visa to learn English within a short time-frame, or to prepare for university or graduate study in the United States. We also offer a flexible schedule of English grammar and conversation classes for those who are already in the United States and who wish to sharpen their English skills or improve their proficiency.In addition to our ESL program, POLY teaches a range offoreign language courses designed for those who need to learn the basics for a trip abroad, to effectively communicate with a non English-speaking friend or relative, or to better appreciate a certain culture or cuisine.POLY also offers a 100-hourTESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Certificate Course, which is based on the core teaching and learning principals we have employed throughout our more than thirty-five years of providing English language training to students from all over the world.
