Description
Polymer's family atmosphere carried throughout the plant, started with the company's inception in 1979.
A Polymer project engineer is assigned to work with you for the entire length of your partnership with us. The partnership ensures your team that the same point person will understand and communicate the full breadth of your product offerings to fellow teammates as the relationship grows. Our expert engineering contact will then work with you on every single product, from part design through full qualification and approvals.
Polymer's cross-functional quality planning team evaluates and scrutinizes each new job for manufacturability, tool design and value-added operation requirements in order to continuously meet the customers' critical quality demands. Each engineer has a minimum of 15-20 years of experience in their field and has been a long standing employee of Polymer Conversions. "Many of our engineers have been instrumental in solving extremely difficult customer concerns of product design and manufacturability.
In our first few years of operation, much of our production was run using "take-over molds". As a result, we began to develop a sound reputation for tool/product re-design, productivity, and quality - all of which resulted in significant increases in on-time deliveries, product quality and cost controls for our customers. We added our own injection molding tooling capabilities in 1982, enhancing our no-risk, comprehensive Tooling Transfer Program to ensure the safe, smooth and fully documented transition of your most critical assets.
Customers often move entire programs from other big name suppliers to Polymer Conversions, Inc. because they know & trust that we have the right solutions, the highest quality, will “do it right the first time” and offer technical expertise that is second to none to help keep them one step ahead of their competition.
