Description
For over 25 years the Windmueller family has sold, installed and serviced safety pool covers throughout the southeast. Living outside of Atlanta, they kept the family business small. When their 3 boys were old enough to learn the business, the Windmuellers employed them during the summer months. The Windmuellers also passed along strong ethical business values and were adamant about teaching the next generation the importance of building good customer relationships.
Middle brother Kris graduated from The Citadel in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Management Information Systems and immediately opened up a branch of the family business in Charleston, SC. In January of 2002, Kris opened his own business, Pool Cover Solutions, with the blessing and support of his parents. A few months later, his younger brother Jon graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and joined his brother in the newly formed company.
