Port Logistics Group was founded in 2008 by Robert Stull, a veteran of three decades in transportation and logistics, through the acquisition of three highly successful regional 3PLs in New Jersey and Los Angeles. By combining logistics professionals with great local knowledge and resources, an integrated technology platform, and years of experience in the gateway markets, Port Logistics Group serves manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers in a variety of industries.
Jim brings over 20 years of experience in information technology to Port Logistics Group. He has 10 years of IT experience in the transportation industry alone, including senior positions with global companies. His experience includes founding a help desk software company and consulting on global IT strategy, including extensive international experience with broad exposure in Asia. Jim received his BBA from Texas State University with a focus in computer information services.
For over 60 years, our team has provided personal service in managing the warehousing, transloading, distribution, drayage and value-added services to the Seattle - Tacoma container port region. Our local knowledge offers responsive, trusted expertise in serving national retailers and retail manufacturers in the apparel, footwear, housewares, furniture, and coffee markets.
While many 3PLs advertise pick, pack and ship capabilities, few have the expertise and systems to efficiently process complex orders. Item- and SKU-level picking processes are the core of our distribution operations, with the ability to manage the most demanding order profiles. Port Logistics Group has eight facilities serving the two busiest container ports in the country. Three million square feet of space and a complete range of services, including drayage, transloading, cross-docking, warehousing and distribution and a wide range of 3PL logistics services. Our facilities provide specialized apparel handling and value-added services, and our LA team brings years of experience in serving the logistics needs of the most demanding retail customers.
