In 1981 Hatten Hodges co-founded Portfolio Capital Management (PCM) with Marc Durica. Before founding PCM, Hatten had worked as a stockbroker for several firms and was a Portfolio Manager and Investment Officer for First Union National Bank. Upon founding PCM, Hatten envisioned providing clients with quality investment management and a superior level of personal service. For over 20 years Hatten helped steer PCM and their clients through both good and bad markets never wavering on the qualities he envisioned back in 1981.

Founded in 1981 by R. Hatten Hodges and Marc J. Durica to offer quality investment management with a higher level of personal service.
